This is a lovely late Victorian style Beckwith upright piano from the turn of the century era. Beckwith pianos were built by the famous Sears & Roebuck Company, and they were sold in their catalogs and larger retail stores. Beckwith pianos were of exceptional quality, and they are consistently some of the best pianos we see come through our shop.

This piano is particularly unusual in that it is made of quarter sawn oak. Most ornately carved pianos from this era were made of expensive mahogany or rosewood, but rarely of common oak. Today, carved oak pianos are very uncommon, and very desirable. It is a rare treat to find an oak piano this elaborate. It will be restored to like new condition inside and out, and can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
